My hope and focus is to make heaven, a place of peace, rest , love, and unity. A place where there is no hate, discrimination, divisiveness, segregation and degradation of others.
1 Timothy 6:7- “For we brought nothing into this world and we can take nothing out of this world.”
Then the question is, what are we fighting for? How long are we going to live in this sinful toxic world. At the end of the day, it is imperative to always know that the best legacy that each and every one of us will live behind is how we treat one another irrespective of our background, color and race. The most fulfilled legacy will be how we impact people’s lives positively which to me is the greatest satisfaction that anyone will ever live to cherish and remembered for even at the point of transition.
Let us learned not to always think of ourselves alone but consider the pain of others and the untold burdens that people bear who may be affected by our words, actions , inactions, hate and biased treatment.
John 6:63 New King James Version (NKJV)
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
Let us follow the example of our lord Jesus Christ to de-escalate tension and promote togetherness in our community in particular, our society at large and to the world as a whole. Let us follow the footsteps our Lord Jesus Christ and speak the word of love and peace. Let us speak the word that will shine light into this dark world and not the words that will cause more darkness, divisiveness and confusion. Let us speak the word of hope and encouragement to one another instead of word of discouragement.
Let us learned to appreciate and uplift other people and see good things about them irrespective of how they look, talk, walk and eat . Every creation represents the beauty of the designing power of God. That being said, everyone has equal value in the face of God.
Jesus died for love, lived for love and preached of love.
John 15:9-17 (ESV)
9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. “
Nothing else in this world enhanced unity and joy like love and nothing more promote conflicts in the world than hatred.
The book of Proverbs put it just right .
Proverbs 10:12-Proverbs 10:12 (NIV)
12 Hatred stirs up conflict,
but love covers over all wrongs.
Are you loving or Hating?
God bless.
